President Brent Meekan and CEO Kieran Shaw had their final
breakfast meeting on Thursday 3rd June
in Wellington. They covered 13 locations
throughout New Zealand over a period of 5 weeks - a great
effort, WELL DONE!!!

INNOVATE NZ Awards of Excellence 2010
The cream of engineering design in New Zealand has been
celebrated at the ACENZ INNOVATE NZ Awards of Excellence 2010
gala dinner held on Saturday 31st July at TSB Showplace, New
Plymouth.
The awards celebrate innovation in design and execution of
consulting engineering services by ACENZ members.
Gold awards also went to the Hautapu Lactose Evaporator
Project, Cambridge, by Aurecon, the Kawerau Geothermal Power
Station: Steam Separation System of Unit 1 by Sinclair Knight
Merz, Project Storm 2 in Auckland by MWH New Zealand, Dunning
Thornton Consultants for Wellington’s Chews Precinct
development, Tonkin & Taylor’s remediation of the
Kawakawa Bay landslip in Manukau City and the Waimakariri Flood
Protection Consenting by Good Earth Matters Consulting.
12 Silver Awards of Excellence and 15 Awards of
Merit were also made.
