About Campbell
I've been Regional Chair for three years and I am keen to continue for another term. I've got approximately 25 years of experience in engineering and environmental consulting and have lived in the Manawatu region since 2017.
I’ve technical experience in the contaminated land, hydrogeology and geotechnical engineering fields, but have spent the majority of the last 15 years as a project manager on large infrastructure projects in the transport, mining, power and buildings sectors.
I currently manage the Palmerston North WSP business comprising approximately 40 employees.

What strengths do you bring to the Regional Chair role?
Like many engineers, I am a problem solver. I have an ability to understand, explain and resolve complex issues both within design teams and wider project stakeholder groups.
I have a good understanding of the commercial pressures (and realities) facing our industry and I am a strong advocate for the work we do and the value we bring to our clients and community.
How would you support ACE's mahi in your region?
Both through my role over the last three years as Regional Chair of ACE NZ and as the manager of panel projects where we are required to work alongside and share work with other consulting engineers, I am familiar with many of the other local members of ACE NZ. Leveraging my networks locally, and through my previous three years in the role, I feel I can start the next term running and continue the momentum.
