What is Diversity, besides a hot-topic subject right now? Quite simply, it's difference. Employing different types of people, genders, ages, ethnicity, cultures, etc. It's valuing what each individual can offer the project, the company, or the client. With lots of different types of people working in your organisation, you get many different opinions, viewpoints, ideas, and perspectives on things. Diversity makes sense too, with tons of research and data pointing to more successful business as a result of increased diversity.
- Diversity delivers a competitive edge
- Diversity delivers an attraction to better talent
- Diversity enhances decision making and presents alternate viewpoints
- Diversity can improve your image
- Diversity can increase productivity and engagement
