Following the collapse of temporary works on a project they were monitoring, WSP accepted an enforceable undertaking to investigate how the Health and Safety at Work Act impacts on the role of the Engineer.
The result of the investigation challenges conventional wisdom on who is responsible for Health and Safety on a construction site. WSP would like to engage with the profession to share their findings and seek feedback before they are formally published in 2020.
