Hawthorn Geddes engineers & architects ltd, established in Northland in 1960, is the largest locally owned multi-discipline practice in Northland, with their head office located in Whangarei.
We provide a range of consultancy services to the construction industry: Structural Engineering design and analysis for light and heavy industrial developments, commercial developments, bridges, housing, retaining walls; Architecture and Project Management for commercial, residential, industrial and institutional building design, including interior fit-outs and fire safety assessments.
A one-stop-shop service; Civil, Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering for soil stability, pavement design, storm-water and waste-water treatment/management for subdivision and land development. Specialist Areas include pre-cast concrete buildings, heavy industrial design and site storm-water attenuation; The four directors have over 60 years combined experience and a good working relationship with local contractors and councils.
