Are you struggling to have purposeful conversations with your clients? Do you need extra help generating actions at the end of these conversations? Have you been unsuccessful in securing the second meeting? Or do you just feel like you're not making progress?
Many professionals struggle to take their client relationships to the next level, and that's what this course is designed to address.
This two-hour workshop offers a practical, end-to-end guide to planning and conducting effective client meetings that'll advance relationships and help you secure new opportunities. With plenty of interactive practice in small groups (we won't put you on the spot in front of the whole room), we'll build your confidence to run effective meetings.

- Positioning an agenda ahead of a meeting
- Creating a purpose to drive a better conversation
- Questions that generate client actions/next steps
- Post-meeting follow up

About the presenter
Ben Paul, CEO of The BD Ladder
Ben Paul has over 20 years of experience in providing sales and marketing advice. He is the CEO/Managing Director and founder of The BD Ladder. Ben enjoys collaborating with teams and individuals to help them to better understand, build and enhance their brands. Prior to establishing The BD Ladder, he was the Business Development and Marketing Director at one of the country’s leading law firms, Kensington Swan. In this role, he was part of the management team that oversaw the firm’s successful combination with the world’s largest law firm, Dentons. Ben led and managed the successful rebranding of the firm to Dentons Kensington Swan. He has also established a key client program in the New Zealand arm of a leading Trans-Tasman engineering consultancy. Previously to this, he reinvigorated a key client programme at a Fortune 500 listed engineering consultancy. Ben has also worked directly for two global accountancy firms in both Auckland and London. He has delivered a proposal response that was held up as global best practice across one of these firm’s internal global networks. Ben is very experienced in providing practical sales and marketing advice to those he works with.
