  • Contract risks in consulting and engineering – with Hannah Bryce

    A current critical challenge for the consulting and engineering sector is risk allocation. Clients see many of our industry-standard contracts as outdated and modify them because of increasing insurance costs, more significant exposures, and a shift in risk allocation. APAC General Counsel for GHD, Hannah Bryce, educates staff on identifying contracts that have an inappropriate risk/reward balance and equips them to push back and have conversations with their clients when what they're asking for is difficult to accept in terms of risk.

    On Wednesday 7 April we held the first of our Future-Fit Forums, a suite of ACE New Zealand workshops designed to help you develop and explore new ideas that will lead to improved business performance. Dr Paul Wood delivered a keynote presentation to a live Wellington and online audience, followed by a workshop with Wellington attendees.     Paul Wood reevaluated his life when he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. By the time he was released, he'd attained a degree in psychology and philosophy, a master's in psychology and was two years into a PhD in psychology. Today people know him as Dr Paul Wood, who's energy, humour and engaging stories can change people's lives. Dr Wood is running our first Future-Fit Forum in April.
