The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) is proposing the occupational regulation of engineers. It follows previous consultations in 2014 and 2019.
MBIE’s proposals could significantly alter the regulatory requirements of those working in engineering, and the public’s perception and trust of engineers.
