Who is ACE New Zealand?
We are the consultant’s champion elevating the voices, preparedness, and professionalism of consultancy firms working in the built and natural environment in Aotearoa. We are a business association championing consulting and consulting businesses. We are not a technical association.

What it means to be a member
ACE New Zealand membership sets a standard for the competency and practice of professional services consulting in Aotearoa New Zealand. To that end, in respect of their business practices, members are expected to comply with the ACE New Zealand member obligations and duties.
All members must
- Hold professional indemnity insurance of at least $500,000 and public liability insurance of at least $1,000,000
- Compete in the marketplace in good faith and without unfair advantage
- Engage openly and honestly with clients, and provide impartial and competent advice
- Disclose and manage conflicts of interest with clients or potential clients
- Have a policy or process in place for responding to client concerns or complaints
- Have quality management systems
- Promote inclusive and equitable workplaces
- Maintain the health, safety and continued competence of their people
- Consider the environment and the wellbeing of communities in how they run their businesses

- We take your application to our next board meeting for review and vote
Fees
You pay an annual subscription based on the size of your firm as of 1 January each year. We take the base rate of $899+GST (as of 1 April 2024) and apply a unit rate that is applicable to the size of your company.
Payment is halved into two invoices sent in April and September each year.
