Networking is an essential skill for all consultants, as it helps to build and maintain business relationships that will stay with you throughout your career. However, it can be daunting attending events and talking to peers and those senior to you.
How can we help? ACE New Zealand has partnered with Ben Paul, founder and director of the BD Ladder, to develop a half-day interactive workshop that covers the basics of how to prepare for networking events, how to introduce yourself professionally, and how to have a conversation that leads to next steps. We’ll also be covering how you can effectively network at online conferences and events.

Time: 9.30-11.30am (includes AM tea)
Cost: ACE members $225 per person, U35s $125, or $325 per person for non-members

About the presenter
Ben Paul is the founder and director of The BD Ladder and has over 20 years of experience in providing sales and marketing advice, with an emphasis on professional services. Ben has worked in Business Development for a large global engineering consultancy and has clients in this sector.
Ben's specialist business development coaching and mentoring skills are sought by a range of clients in different sectors, including engineering, architecture, design and construction. Having grown his business through in-person and online networking, and building long-term business relationships, means he is ideally placed to share these experiences with you.
