Engineering New Zealand will be holding our popular speed interviewing nights around the country in April and May. The evenings will start at 5.30pm with sign in and networking.
They are looking for volunteers to be the INTERVIEWERS, as each year there are more students than interviewers! Consider giving back to your profession by signing up to be an interviewer. Dates and locations can be found by clicking on the appropriate city link below.
The evenings are an opportunity for you to practise your interviewing skills during our ten minute interview sessions. You will interview a student for seven minutes and then provide them with three minutes of feedback. A bell will ring and you will then have another student to interview. You will interview between five and seven students during the evening. These evenings are a good opportunity to catch up with your peers, make industry connections, meet current members, meet future engineers and gain some continuing professional development hours in the process.
You don’t need to prepare for the evening. We will provide you with a sheet of sample questions to ask the students, however you are welcome to ask the students your own questions. You never know, you may find the perfect candidate for your next graduate role in the process.
Feel free to pass this email to others who may be interested, so they too can take advantage of this opportunity.
Reminder - this event is an Engineering New Zealand event. If you have any questions regarding these events, contact Engineering New Zealand directly, www.engineeringnz.org
