REDUCE LEAD TIMES BY USING LOCALLY BASED STOCK OF SHEET PILE
On time-sensitive projects, reducing lead times for critical plant and equipment is essential for success. With imported product having lead times from 6-14 weeks, we have responded to the growing demand for large amounts of locally-based stock.
We aim to have a minimum of 1,500 tonnes of stock on hand at all times, to ensure we can provide what you need, when you need it.
CUSTOMER FOCUS IS A KEY DRIVER AT SHEET PILE NZ
Our business philosophy is to be user friendly. That, combined with availability of stock and very competitive pricing means we’re in a strong position to partner with major construction and contracting firms to supply what you need, when you need it.
We offer all customers:
- Free loading and unloading at our yards
- Environmentally friendly water blasting at our yard, free of charge
- All inclusive sheet hire fees, no hidden costs
- Friendly, professional service with fast turnaround
- Quality product, always checked before it leaves our yard

Metro Performance Glass
We sell a full range of glass products and glazing services including; DGUs, toughened glass, laminated and cut-to-size glass to more than 3,000 customers, primarily window manufacturers, glaziers, merchants and builders.
The business provides a "just-in-time" delivery service to its customers and manages its own logistics through a fleet of over 260 service vehicles. Metro Performance Glass' market leadership is supported by a number of competitive advantages including its high customer service standards, manufacturing capability and scale, distribution footprint, product offering and glazing capability.
The short lead times and the customised nature of the glass products demanded by the market, make it challenging for imports to compete effectively, while the regional populations distribution throughout New Zealand makes the establishment of a scale operation challenging.
During our nearly 30 years in operation, we have set operational, product and safety benchmarks in the New Zealand glass industry. The company currently employs more than 800 employees in a wide variety of roles including production, residential and commercial glazing, driving, sales, engineering, technical and support services.
Metro Performance Glass is carried at more than 90 showrooms throughout New Zealand. To see a full list of showrooms, visit www.metroglass.co.nz/glass-outlets
