Wellbeing at work: Supporting your team
Webinar - February 15, 2022 at 1:00pm - 1:45pm
About
Join mental health occupational therapist Zainab Badat to gain insight into mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and learn ways to support your team.
Research tells us that having a mentally healthy workforce is good for business – people are more productive, they take less sick leave, and they are more likely to remain in their jobs for longer. It’s also an obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act to ensure your team members are well, physically and mentally.
Designed for employers and leaders, this session will help you:
- Understand mental health and wellbeing in the context of work and productivity
- Explore the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns on overall well-being
- Recognise the importance of self-care, and the benefits and barriers
- Create an individual self-care/wellness plan
- Support employees on their wellness journeys
