ACE New Zealand is excited to explore one of New Zealand’s most significant integrated infrastructure planning programmes: Te Tupu Ngātahi – Supporting Growth.
ACE New Zealand is proud to partner with Auckland Transport, New Zealand Transport Agency, AECOM, Beca, Bell Gully and Buddle Findlay, Te Tupu Ngātahi – the Supporting Growth Alliance, to share lessons on accelerating delivery, protecting future corridors, aligning stakeholders and creating better outcomes for growing communities.
As growth pressures intensify across Aotearoa, the challenge of planning, protecting and delivering infrastructure ahead of development has never been more important. This session will provide ACE members with practical insights into how a collaborative, multi-agency approach has accelerated corridor designation, improved integration between land use and transport planning, and created opportunities for more efficient investment in infrastructure.
While Te Tupu Ngātahi has transformed the way transport corridors are planned across Auckland, the real value of this session lies in the lessons that can be applied across projects, regions and disciplines. Attendees will hear directly from leaders involved in the programme and gain valuable perspectives on stakeholder alignment, programme sequencing, funding considerations, policy integration and partnership models.
The discussion will focus on the strategic decisions, tools and practices that enabled faster outcomes, reduced risk and delivered long-term value for communities.
