Vitruvius is a proudly New Zealand-owned, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivering practical, high-quality solutions for infrastructure and development projects across Aotearoa. Founded in 2012, we provide expertise in transport, rail, three waters, land development, surveying, strategic advisory, digital engineering, project management, and project controls, supporting projects from initial planning and strategy through to design and delivery.
With offices in Auckland, Tauranga, and Wellington, and remote workers in Gisborne, Whanganui and Queenstown, Vitruvius partners with public and private sector clients nationwide. Our name is inspired by the renowned Roman architect and engineer Vitruvius, whose principles of strength, utility, and beauty continue to guide our approach today. We strive to deliver outcomes that are technically robust, fit for purpose, and create lasting value for our clients and communities.
Our success is built on the skills and passion of our people and the quality of the relationships we develop. We work closely with clients to solve complex challenges, providing honest advice, pragmatic solutions, and a commitment to delivering the best outcome for the project rather than ourselves.
Our size provides the best of both worlds: we are agile, responsive, and highly collaborative, while also having the capability to partner with specialists and deliver projects on a national scale. As part of our commitment to quality and safety, Vitruvius is a listed supplier with Tōtika, New Zealand’s universal health and safety pre-qualification scheme.
