About the speakers
Amanda Halfacree is the Head of Financial and Professional Risks at Gallagher Insurance.
Amanda has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years and has specialised in liability lines for most of the past 18. She started her career in New Zealand as a broker at Marsh before moving into underwriting at AIG New Zealand, AIG Australia and CGU Australia. Ten years ago she returned to New Zealand and to broking with Gallagher’s specialist Financial and Professional Risks team (FINPRO). She has managed both large and small teams and now, as Head of FINPRO for Gallagher she leads an experienced team of 34 who provide comprehensive liability advice across all sectors of New Zealand business.
Natasha Clarke is Southern Manager Financial and Professional Risks at Gallagher Insurance.
Natasha brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on liability lines over the past seven years. Beginning her career in New Zealand as an underwriter with NZI Insurance, she transitioned to broking in 2000. Natasha has held roles with prominent broking firms, including JLT and Willis, before joining Gallagher’s Financial and Professional Risks (FINPRO) team in 2019. Based in Gallagher’s Christchurch office, she leads the southern FINPRO team and manages a substantial portfolio of professional clients across the engineering, construction and legal sectors.
