Excellence in collaboration, impact, innovation and value took centre stage at the 2026 ACE Awards Gala, sponsored by Beca, in Auckland on Thursday 5 November. The winners of the 2026 ACE Awards demonstrate the extraordinary contribution that engineering consultants make across Aotearoa every day.
The 2026 ACE Awards recognise the breadth of modern engineering consulting practice – excellence in collaboration, impact, innovation, relationships, sustainability and value, as well as emerging leaders, diversity and inclusion, future-focused thinking, and commitment to Te Ao Māori.
ACE New Zealand Chief Executive Helen Davidson says the ACE Awards tell a compelling story about the value engineering consultants bring to the communities they serve – improving transport networks, developing neighbourhoods, creating vibrant buildings and public spaces, providing access to clean water, and delivering a better future for people and the planet.
“We have an exceptional pool of talented people in New Zealand who manage complex projects and deliver world-class solutions that keep our country moving and communities thriving. These awards celebrate the engineering consultants at the heart of creating a better future for Aotearoa.”
Davidson says New Zealand has a huge amount of infrastructure to plan and build, and engineering consultants will be critical to delivering it successfully.
“These winners are raising the bar for our professions. Huge congratulations to all our 2026 ACE Awards winners.”
