There’s a lot changing across our sector. So how do you step back from the day-to-day and work out what it all means for your business? With Futurespace 2026 just days away, we talk to the team at Gallagher Insurance, our premium partner, about why they see value in bringing the sector together to exchange ideas, challenge thinking and prepare for what’s ahead.
What is it about the conversations, connections and insights at Futurespace that makes the event worth backing for Gallagher as Premium Partner?
Futurespace brings together people from across consulting, engineering and the wider built environment to discuss the issues shaping the sector.
For us, being part of these conversations is just as important as sharing our own perspective. Technology, sustainability, workforce pressures, regulation and risk are increasingly connected, and our expertise spans many of those areas. That puts us in a good position to help businesses understand how different risks connect, what they could mean in practice and what you can do to manage them.
Where do you see Futurespace creating the greatest value for the sector, both now and in the future?
There’s a lot happening across the sector, from project delivery, productivity and attracting good people to longer-term questions around technology, sustainability, and client expectations. Futurespace is a chance to step away from the day-to-day, hear different perspectives and learn from what others are doing.
As the sector continues to change, those conversations can help you make sense of emerging issues, think about what they mean for you and your business, and consider how best to prepare for what’s ahead.
What are you looking forward to about Futurespace?
We want to hear what’s working in practice and learn in more detail about how people are using data and insights to understand what’s happening within their organisations, including with their people. Our own workforce research has shown how closely things like engagement, retention, productivity, and wellbeing can be tied to wider business performance. It also gives us the chance to hear directly from you about the challenges you’re facing and share advice and insights from our own experience that could help.
Gallagher’s support helps make Futurespace possible. What do you hope will grow from that investment, for attendees and the wider sector?
We’d love people to leave Futurespace with new ideas, valuable connections and a different perspective on some of the challenges and opportunities ahead.
What’s important to us is that those conversations continue beyond Futurespace. Through our partnership with ACE New Zealand, you can draw on our expertise across insurance, risk, people and business continuity, whether you’re working through an emerging issue, weighing up your options or looking for advice on what to do next.
