Structural engineering design is at the core of our experience. Director and chartered Structural Engineer Simon Finn has a wealth of structural engineering experience across several sectors including health, education and retail in the UK and NZ.
We work closely with architects, homeowners and commercial clients across Christchurch and around New Zealand to provide structural advice and structural design services. Much of our work is centered around designing new houses and house extensions and alterations. We are also extremely experienced in completing earthquake damage assessments and repairs along with providing structural designs to seismically strengthen existing buildings.
We also design commercial and industrial buildings, with our specific areas of specialism being in the use of steel frames and the design of circular water retaining structures.
Previous experience of working for specialist subcontractors has provided an awareness of financial viability in the marketplace that can sometimes be overlooked by others. This approach can result in significant cost savings for the build project.
