Established in 1960, Hawthorn Geddes Engineers & Architects Ltd is Northland’s largest independent engineering and architecture practice with their head office located in Whangarei.
We offer consultancy services to the construction industry, including structural engineering design and assessments (industrial, commercial, residential, bridges, and retaining walls, seismic…), as well as architecture and project management for building designs, civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering, focusing on soil stability, pavement design, and stormwater and wastewater management for subdivisions and land development. Specialisations include pre-cast concrete buildings, heavy industrial design, and site stormwater attenuation.
The three company directors all take an active role in the practice and have a wealth of combined experience covering the civil, structural, architectural, geotechnical and environmental disciplines.
