Maria Mingallon
Maria Mingallon is a finalist for the Futurespace Award due to her pioneering leadership in digital transformation and artificial intelligence within the engineering and infrastructure sectors. As Knowledge and Information Manager and AI Lead for Asia Pacific at Mott MacDonald, Maria has driven the adoption of responsible AI, leading the rollout of Microsoft Copilot and integrating AI-driven capabilities into enterprise knowledge management.
Tania Hyde
Tania Hyde’s application for the Futurespace Award highlights her visionary leadership in sustainability, circular economy adoption and climate resilience within the infrastructure sector. A Technical Director and Circular Design Lead at Beca with over 25 years’ experience, she has championed systems-based, future-focused approaches to infrastructure delivery in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.

The winner of the 2025 Futurespace Award will be presented at the ACE Awards Gala on 23 October in Auckland.
