BSK Consulting Engineers is a Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Consultancy based in Rotorua and Tauranga
The practice was founded in Rotorua in 1963 under the name Kelly, Browne and Spurr and operated until 1990. John Kronast then joined the firm and the name was changed to Browne Spurr and Kronast. In 1996 the BSK name and the current company structure was adopted.
The practice specialises in Structural Design, particularly Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Farm buildings, and Geotechnical EngineeringBSK work with a wide range of architects, architectural designers, mechanical and electrical engineers, contractors and developers. Due in part to the longevity of the firm BSK has a strong client base both locally and in the wider district. BSK operate with a strong sense of team which aims to provide practical engineering solutions.
A high level of importance is placed on supplying the client with accurate details, easily understood by the builder and that can be practically constructed. The firm has an open relaxed culture where the client is welcome throughout the project. With a wealth of expertise and ability BSK are perfectly suited to offer a wide range of engineering services.
