Personnel Survey

The ACENZ Personnel Survey is an annual survey used to calculate member subscription fees and perform high-level analysis of the sector.  

Members are invited to complete the survey by 21 February 2020. A report with the total number of people in your company and your subscription fee for 2020 is emailed to you before we issue your first invoice in April.  

If we don’t receive a response from your business, your subscription fee may be calculated based on the information supplied in your last completed survey as well as a penalty premium of 10%.   

Each survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.  

Pre survey checklist

  • The total number of technical personnel in your company as of 1 January 2020 
  • Please include all technical personnel included in your New Zealand headcount (whether located in New Zealand or overseas) 
  • Please ensure you do not duplicate employee numbers (for example a Project Manager who is also an Engineer should only be counted once. Please record them under the job title they predominantly function in) 
  • If you have permanent part-time staff, please add 0.5 for an employee that works less than 30 hours a week. Please treat 30 hours or more as a full-time employee
