ACE New Zealand Rules Review online drop-in session
Online - March 17, 2022 at 8:00am - 9am
About
What does ACE New Zealand membership represent to you? And how do you expect ACE New Zealand members to behave in the marketplace?
We’re planning to review our ACE New Zealand Rules and we'd like to hear your views on these important questions, and more.
Some of our rules are no longer fit for purpose and others are wordy and unclear. There’s also new legislation in the pipeline that will require us to add some new rules.
The most significant changes we are proposing are to clearly define what ACE New Zealand and its membership stand for, to underpin our collective credibility, influence and professionalism.
Join ACE New Zealand Chief Executive Helen Davidson, Board President Ian Fraser and Board Vice-President Ceinwen McNeil at one of three online drop-in sessions.
Why should I get involved?
We are the only association looking out for the business of consulting. Being clear on our role and purpose is critical to ensuring we put our energy into the right things.
Last year, you told us you expect ACE New Zealand to be a trusted and credible voice for our members, you want us to help prepare members to lead through the challenges of today and tomorrow, and that you want us to uplift the professionalism of professional services consultancy.
We’ve designed our new strategy around delivering these outcomes. Now we need to ensure our Rules enable us to do this mahi for you and with you in the most efficient and effective way, while also meeting all legal requirements.
ACE New Zealand is continually striving to reflect the diverse and contemporary environment our members operate in so that we can maintain our relevance for you, and our credibility and influence with stakeholders. We recognise this will mean different things to different members, so it’s important our Rules can work for all firms.
We’re keen to hear feedback from a wide cross-section of our membership to ensure we’ve got the balance right, for ACE New Zealand’s long-term success.
